Meet Kelly Schmidt

I’m an executive coach for leaders at the intersection of business and technology—those responsible for driving results, aligning teams, and leading change in environments that rarely slow down. Many of my clients are navigating high-stakes transformations for the first time, managing cross-functional teams, or stepping into roles where the expectations are clear but the path forward isn’t.

My clients are high-performing, highly capable people. They’re not lost. But they’re often under pressure to lead when the path isn’t clear, the team is still forming, or the context keeps shifting. That’s where I come in.

For more than 20 years at Johnson & Johnson, I’ve led tech-enabled business transformations across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and consumer goods. My work has spanned organizational change, team development, talent strategy, and leadership culture—always at the intersection of business and technology, where complexity runs deep.

I’ve led through reorgs. Rebuilt teams that weren’t working. Built new ones from scratch. I’ve helped first-time managers find their voice, and supported seasoned leaders stepping into bigger, messier roles. I’ve led from the front, the back, and everywhere in between—and I bring all of that to my coaching.
